The Poison of Pride
In the book of Esther, we find a sub-theme that causes the conflict throughout the story. Men poisoned by pride cause great problems for themselves and others. We can learn a lot from their bad example to help motivate us to stay far from pride.

Though God is not specifically mentioned in the book of Esther, his presence is clearly seen. The characters and situations in this book have much to teach us today as we seek to serve God in uncertain times.
