A Prophet's Prayer for His People Daniel 9:1-19
As Daniel realised the 70 years Jeremiah had prophesied for the captivity we're almost over, the Jews didn't seem any closer to going home. He identified himself with his people and appealed to God's mercy in delivering the people so the name of God would be glorified.
